Heeeeello! 👋

I’m Niccolò, and I got my PhD in the SapienzaNLP group.

My main research area is the field of Neural Machine Translation, with a particular focus on reducing Semantic Biases that most NMT models exhibit. Of course, I also do / did research in other areas, I like to keep an open mind! 🤓

I got my BSc from Università degli Studi Roma Tre and my MSc from Università La Sapienza, both in Engineering in Computer Science.

I am an avid gamer 🎮! For the past few months I’ve been particularly enjoying Knockout City :) I also watch a lot of movies / tv series, and enjoy reading mangas / comics on occasion.

I also proudly own a Kawasaki Z650, which I love 🏍💕 and I hold a 1st Dan black belt in Goju-Ryu Karate 🥋 (which I had to stop practicing since the pandemic started 😔).
